Can't believe I missed this post Colin. How did this turn out?
Those symptoms are very, very peculiar. No distinct dermatome or cutaneous nerve distribution to be seen there. Could be multiple tetherings or compressions rather than a single cause. Or maybe something more sympathetic rather than motor/sensory nerve compression/irritability. Pain below umbilicus would suggest vagus contirbution which fits with sympathetic overload.

Thoughts?

Obturator nerve? Osteitis pubis? Advice please

Time to ask for opinions from the collective STT Forum brains trust:

Client (50 y.o. male)had osteitis pubis 10 months ago after pivoting leg and swinging 25 kg bags of soil. Speedy recovery after taping and Onsen-type pelvis work.

Now re-presents with the following, after moving light furniture:

Sensation in the pubic symphysis that is far milder than the OP but reminiscent of it.
Dull ache 2-3cm below umbilicus.
Alternate tingling or numbness in the medial arch close to the ball of the foot, an area about the size of a 50¢ piece.
Similar sensation, intermittent but with more ache, in the medial mid thigh, which alternates with pain and tingling in thigh superior to the medial knee (obturator nerve?)
Occassional intermittent pain in the posterior superior adductors, accompanied by mild tingling in either the left testicle or the perineum.
Worse lying down, with Left led abducted or in FABER position.
Client normally sleeps on back, but this exacerbates symptoms so now sleeps on side.
Fine standing, occasional pain in L medial gastroc in walking or kneeling.
No sciatic type symptoms or LBP.

Any thoughts?
