You can only treat the consequences to MS sufferers. They will change without notice, go into remission, have 'episodes' and be left with another portion of their body lacking in motor/sensory/autonomic control. Slut of a disease. Why would our own anti bodies do that to us...

Be careful of too deep, too soon.

Work to support where they are at; working hypertonicities can lead (during some stages) to flaccidity and a lack of motor control. Those tightnesses might be all that is allowing any function and their neural organisation needs to be respected in the presence of demyelination.

I work on a fella with MS. Found out 12 months ago. Doc told me to treat symptoms. Nothing about prevention.
I just search for muscle spasm.

just like to know some management options for MS . Obviously the goals are to limit the amount of attacks , their severity , and their duration. How much soft tissue work can they handle ? Each case to be treated on individual basis , but what are some of your wxperiences?
