This comprehensive workshop delivers a structured approach to assessment and treatment of the Pelvic region. The workshop is relevant and applicable to all Soft Tissue Therapists , Remedial Massage Therapists and Myotherapists, regardless of experience.
Day 1 ? Fundamentals of Pelvic Assessment and Treatment
Course participants will learn to identify dysfunction of the Pelvic, Hip and Sacral complexes. Treatments will focus on the:
1. Extrinsic Pelvic, Hip and Sacral musculature, myofascia and fascia
2. Intrinsic Pelvic, Hip and Lumbar Spine musculature and myofascia
Day 2 ? Advanced Pelvic Assessment and Treatment
Delivers a more advanced level of assessment and treatment which delves into the functional relationship of the pelvic fascia to the pelvis, abdomen, spine, hip and respiratory system. The major focus for day two is on identification of the intrinsic Pelvic fascia, musculature and myofascia and ways to determine when it is a necessary area for treatment.
Course participants will be treated to Andrews? Real Time Ultrasounds which identify how Soft Tissue Therapy can affect change in deeper Pelvic and Abdominal structures.
Participants in this course will learn how to assess and treat the pelvic fascia in context with:
? Core stability
? Breathing
? Pelvic Floor function
? Upper and lower limb dysfunction
? Sacro- Illiac joint pain and dysfunction
? Spinal function
